Computer collection

Here I'd like to document any old computers and consoles I have used or find interesting, I think that theyre awesome and I like the history behind them. Some are old, some are new, some of them are borrowed and none of them are blue.

Apple II

The machine works after some tinkering, a friend replaced a capacitor in the PSU and reinstalled the smoke that the psu emitted.

AMSTRAD PCW9512

This model of computer was my first item in my collection. Not this exact machine, the first one with the 3.5" floppy drive I scrapped a while back, I kept the older 3" drive model for some reason! Stupid sized floppy discs!

AMSTRAD NC200

A wonderful machine, nice and compact, runs BASIC, has a parallel port, serial port! All you need! Sadly the screen or ribbon has given up the ghost. Haven't found a fix, short of replacing the screen...

Commodore 64C

I bought this off a friend from school for £20, it came with the commodore, two joysticks and HUNDREDS of cassettes, most of them copies of games... Damn pirates eh? I'd like to get a VIC 20 to go with this, a breadbox model would be nice!

HUE HUE HUE

PDP-11/23

Probably one of the most important items listed! This machine has a lot to answer for and without it a lot of things wouldn't have happened. Its an on going project, seeing what software can be ran. How can it be upgraded, Its a wonderful machine!

HUE HUE HUE

PDP-11/73

Slightly more up to date than the 11/23, more capable, plans are to put RT-11 on there, setup DECnet and other things so I can telnet into the PDP-11. How awesome would that be? Or perhaps UNIX/BSD on there

HUE HUE HUE

Playstation 1

Haven't played this at all, way too modern and I don't have any games for it.

HUE HUE HUE

Playstation 3

This doesn't work either! It needs attention as it has the yellow light of death!

HUE HUE HUE

Sega Mega Drive

I used to own a Sega Mega Drive II with lots of games... No idea what happened to it :(

HUE HUE HUE

SNES

I grew up playing this machine, SMB2 (japenese version) is a pig of a game! Many hours were spent on it...
